Did you know all it takes to get an insurance license is to take an online course and get a 70 on an exam? That's a "C" or average if you were still in high school! Now don't get me wrong, it's not as easy as I made it out to be. Many people have failed it - MANY... it really does serve it's purpose. You come out of the process with a bare minimum to be an agent. And honestly, thinking back, it is scary what you don't know at first!

At Springer Insurance, we want to be better. We want to be better at our careers so that we can have long and prosperous ones. Each of us know this is our profession and we all treat it as such. Being better means giving better advice to our clients so we truly know they are making the best insurance decision.

So, to be better, we all work harder at educating ourselves in our profession. Each agent is always working towards a professional designation, such as CPIA or even the coveted CIC. And it's not an option! It is mandatory that we all must choose a path and have at least one class scheduled at a time. This helps the agent to make sure they are always moving forward and it's always fun to have something to look forward to!

Nicholas Springer

President

Nick Springer, current President and CEO of Springer Insurance, joined the agency in 2000. From CSR to telemarketer, Associate Agent, Vice President and now President, Nick worked every possible job in the agency, including janitor while he was in middle school two nights a week!

After taking over for Reta, who retired in 2018, Nick and his wife Shannon have grown the agency to four locations and recently moved the Home Office to a new office condo, still in Midlothian. Over his many years, Nick has attained the designation of a Certified Authority on Workers Compensation (CAWC) and most recently the coveted Certified Insurance Counseller (CIC) designation.

Nick is now heading up the new Springer Private Client Division geared to High Net Worth clients.
