When I was in middle school, our hours at The Springer Agency were a lot later! I know because I had to come to work with mom, two evenings a week after dinner during the week (and every other Saturday). After I was done changing the trash, washing the windows and cleaning the bathroom, it was time for homework and Seinfeld!
She kept the agency open back then until 9pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. The purpose was twofold: To be there for our clients when they got home from work and also to reach new clients via our telemarketers.
We did not have a web site or even an email address for clients to reach us because they did not exist yet. And voicemail was not gonna fly in our office because Reta wanted a human to take care of her policyholder “First Time Final†meaning they should only have to make one call to us.
Today, being there for our policyholders is still the most important reason why we are open later than all other agent’s offices on our area. And while we once wrote a lot of great local clients from our telemarketing calls, it just doesn’t work as well anymore!
While not open as late as 9pm, we do extended hours and one more day to get in touch. Now we are open 8:30am -7pm Monday-Thursday nights each week (5:30pm Friday). Each location has nights they work and also Saturdays 10-1pm.
So, when you get home from work and need a real human to answer an insurance question – we’re here. Give us a call!
